Anyway! in the video, we were joined by our guest unboxer, Heather who is our new customer service person! Wanna know a little bit more about her?… see the below info!

Name: Heather Galbraith

Job Description: Customer Service Associate

How long have you worked for KR?: I started on July 5th 2017 😊

One thing on your bucket list (give a why) – to learn how to play the piano… because then I could burst into song in hotel lobbies to embarrass people.

One of your favorite KR products or the first one you owned? The first KR product got after starting to work here (which is of course near and dear to my heart)… was one the of Andy Warhol Campbell’s Soap Can Mystery Mini Series. I got the Vinyl Money Symbol which I took as a good omen for starting a new job. I also just loved loved the packaging. The detail on can itself was so rad I almost did not want to disturb it BUT! I dove in and opening the can was a blast in addition to the cool vinyl.

Roses are red, violets are blue……. I’m stuck on this one, boo hoo hoo

What about Kidrobot or art culture is your favorite? Currently, I have been enjoying the nostalgia factor… remembering beloved cartoons from back in the day has been really fun.

What’s a fun fact about you some people might not know? My first kiss (in six grade) recently won a Tony.

Where were you born (or where are you from?) Philly

Heather is one of the newest people to join the Kidrobot team, I’m pretty sure that is clear from the start date she mentioned. We can’t speak to the kind of person she is out of the office quite yet… we haven’t had her make any scarifies to the vinyl gods, sign anything in blood or even break any laws (lucky her) but we do know that she fit into our weird and crazy culture pretty quick. Heather steers clear of negative vibes and spiders and we really vibe with that. Her perfect teeth and ability to make anyone laugh is something we really value at our corporate office and now cannot live without. Thanks for somehow convincing us to hire you, Heather, we are super happy that you’re around to keep us all happy as well as our often picky (but we love them) customers and collectors. Hats off to you, kid.

Got a question you think Heather can answer??? Leave a comment below!

All You Need To Know About The Nick 90’s Mini Series – Available Now on

Let’s time travel friends… the year is 1991, it’s August and summer vacation is coming to a close. I woke up on a lazy Sunday morning earlier than normal, poured myself a bowl of Trix and slapped Boyz II Men into my Discman. While listening to “Motownphilly” for the millionth time, I thought to myself “I guess I could watch some TV”. I waded through the hallway leading myself towards the den. My angsty adolescent self flipped through the channels, I sighed loudly as if I thought the glowing pixels could hear my boredom. As I scanned, I was completely unaware of the shift in the universe that was taking place. Something amazing was afoot, something that was going to alter cartoon viewing for the rest of my life…

On August 11th, 1991 Nickelodeon aired its first animated series with original content, well not just one series, but three! Doug, Rugrats and The Ren Stimpy Show blasted through our TV screens, and if you are a kid of the 90’s you hardly remember a time when Nicktoons did not exist.

WELL! Get ready for a nostalgia overload! Spanning across the 1990’s, this new Kidrobot blind box mini-series has some familiar faces that will have you blissfully remembering some of our favorite Nick 90’s theme songs, episodes and characters (if you haven’t listened to the Log Commercial lately you’ll be shocked to realize you still know all the words verbatim).

In this Nick-tastic lineup, we have (in order of when the shows aired because I am a nerd): Tommy Pickles and Charles Crandall Norbert Finster Jr. (more affectionately known as “Chuckie”) from Rugrats; Marland “Ren” T. Höek, Stimpson “Stimpy” J. Cat and Powwwwdered Toooasst Maaannnn from (obvi) The Ren Stimpy Show; Rocko (the only character on the series that does not have a last name) and Heffer Wolfe from Rocko’s Modern Life; Ickis and Krumm from Aaahh!!! Real Monsters; Arnold Phillip Shortman and Helga Pataki fromHey! Arnold; Daggett Doofus “Dag” Beaver and Norbert Foster “Norb” Beaver from The Angry Beavers; Cat and Dog from… mmm sorry drawing a blank here; Sir Nigel Archibald Thornberry and Eliza Thornberry from The Wild Thornberrys and last, but certainly not least, SpongeBob SquarePants, Patrick Star and Sandy Cheeks from SpongeBob SquarePants!

I mean your vinyl collection is about to get slimed with excitement!!! So “Move it, football head!” over to and grab you some childhood back! I mean “A baby’s gotta do what a baby’s gotta do.” Right?!

Psst… just because I am SO excited for this miniseries, I wanted to share some “fun facts” that I stumbled upon while getting maxed out with “Happy Happy Joy Joy” for this release. Soooo “Are you ready, kids? AYE AYE CAPTAIN! I can’t hear youuuu! AYE AYE CAPTAIN!”

  1. Ickis is allergic to slugs (me too Ickis, me too)
  2. Stephen Hillenberg (the creator of SpongeBob SquarePants) used to teach Marine Biology and he was on the creative team behind the first three seasons of Rocko’s Modern Life.
  3. If you remember Pee Wee’s Playhouse, then you may remember a claymation starring a girl named Penny – if you look closely at some of those shorts you’ll spot a clay version of Arnold from Hey Arnold!
  4. Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers was the voice behind Donnie (the cute wild child) in the The Wild Thornberrys.
  5. The production company Klasky Csupo, is responsible for producing and animating 3 of the Nicktoons in this miniseries – Rugrats, Aaahh!!! Real Monsters and The Wild Thornberrys. Additionally, Arlene Klasky and Gábor Csupó are real life inspiration behind the characters Didi and Stu Pickles.
  6. Voice actor, Billy West, voiced both Ren and Stimpy from 1993 to 1996. Actually, Mr. West is behind 100’s of voices and has probably landed on one of your favorite animated series at some point – notably for our Nick 90’s purposes he’s also been on CatDog, Hey Arnold! and Aaahh!!! Real Monsters.
  7. The B-52’s sang the theme song for seasons 2-4 of Rocko’s Modern Life (you’re welcome if you get “Love Shack” stuck in your head for the rest of the day)
  8. SpongeBob SquarePants is the only Nick 90’s toon still airing new episodes… it’s been on air for 18 years! Really let that sink in 90’s kids, 18 freakin’ years!

The Kidrobot x Nickelodeon Vinyl Mini Series Released on

Here is another blog from our good friend Chris Holt aka The Toy Viking on the release of the new Nickelodeon Mini Series!

Kidrobot is hitting me right in the feels with these Nickelodeon figures from back in the day.  For those of you that missed it, the 90’s were a great time to be alive.  The music was awesome and the internet just started making its way into people’s homes.  I remember when I first got online by utilizing one of those cds they used to mail you every week from the different providers.  It took forever to get connected and listening to that horrible screeching noise was almost enough to make it not worth it.  But then something magical happened: an entire world of information was there for the taking.  Not quite understanding bookmarks or search engines I would print out my favorite things I found and put them in a binder.  Most of the time it involved a funny picture or facts that I found interesting.  I amassed quite the collection before my parents taught me a very important lesson about the cost of printer ink.  I’m still paying that bill off.

Undoubtedly my internet book had some pics of Ren and Stimpy in there, as that was by far my favorite cartoon.  It was just the right amount of bizarre mixed with a healthy dose of hilarious.  That cat and Chihuahua aren’t alone in this Nickelodeon mini series though.  They’re joined by characters from Spongebob, Angry Beavers, Hey Arnold, Cat Dog, Ahhh Real Monsters, The Wild Thornberrys, Rugrats, and Rocko’s Modern Life.  These are sold blind boxed, but no matter which ones you get they’ll all take you back to a more simple time in your life when your biggest worry was keeping the tv schedule straight.

These modern twist on the classics are available right now from

Throwback Thursday: Frank Kozik’s Baby Huey

PAY ATTENTION: This Throwback Thursday miiiiight mean something. We are throwing it back to 2016 when Kidrobot released the Frank Kozik Baby Huey Doll in pink and blue (duh.) Dont remember? Chris Holt… aka The Toy viking….is here to say a little something about it.

I remember the first time I saw this Baby Huey figure from Frank Kozik and Kidrobot and I had the best idea for a movie.  Here’s the premise:  The fellow that this toy is based on gets word that it’s debuting at comic con and aims to stop it from happening.  He sends his most elite military unit to infiltrate the convention center and take over.  They have the building secured, hostages are taken, but they never take into account a group of cosplayers going rogue. Stuff happens, awkward nerd boy falls in love with improbably beautiful fellow nerd girl, and a group of fans in costume defeat the best of the best that the unnamed country has to offer.  You can not convince me that wouldn’t be awesome.  Let’s get this to Hollywood ASAP.

The New Dunny Bookends Just For You!

Chris Holt is a very well – read man, well we would assume so since he pretty much always knows what he is talking about. Anyway, because of this we trusted him to write the blog for the new bookends that are cool enough to just “have” but are really meant to share a shelf with a bunch of books that you have read (not just the ones you buy to make it look like you have read a lot) here is a little something something about the new Dunny Bookends that released this week on Take it away Chris (aka the Toy Viking) give it to us straight… There’s nothing better than having a ton of books in your home.  And there’s nothing worse than having them stacked neck high with a path down the middle so you can access the bathroom.  Kidrobot is solving a portion of your hoarding problem with these stylish and functional Dunny bookends.  They would look amazing as they bring some order to that encyclopedia set you swear you still need, or as stand alone objects of art.  See each one is hiding a secret (kind of how that family of possums is hiding in your spare bedroom) stepped design covered in blue resin.  Gaze into it’s magic abyss each time you take a new book to work to read during your lunch break.  Then think about how beautiful it is when people insist on still talking to you as you try to read as if an open book wasn’t a good enough sign that you’re busy.  Let me have my half hour of sanctuary, people!
